The Navy Tridents Triathlon club is proud to host the first triathlon event of the year in Nova Scotia. The race is definitely a good ice-breaker for the triathlon veterans. It's also a very good way to find out how much fun triathlons are. So if you're just getting started, you can register for a shorter race and see how it fits.
Heat start times will be posted on 27 May 2011.
For more info, ask Navy Tridents Race Director.

Due to the large number of race entries check-in begins at 6:30am. Have your TNS card on hand at the TNS table to speed things up.

Duathlon briefing is on the front lawn at 6:55am and triathlon briefings for each wave will be on the pool deck 15 minutes before your start time.

Due to the vast amount of construction going on at Shearwater we have had to move transition and alter the bike course this year. You may have 1 pair of shoes or flip flops on the pool deck during your heat if you wish to put shoes on for the run to the transition zone; however, if you bring them to the pool deck you MUST take them with you. All other pieces of clothing, towels etc must remain in transition.

Maps will be provided in your race kits and large maps will be on display on the pool deck during your race brief.
